“A Short History of Dia de Los Tres Reyes Magos ( 3 Kings Men) Celebration”
In the mist of the Tres Reyes Magos celebration taking place today in various Latin American countries, La Semillita would like to recognize all marginalized children who receive their toys on this date. Since many families cannot afford toys until after the holiday season, most of them celebrate today and consider Los Tres Reyes Magos or the 3 Kings Men holiday as Latin America’s “poor-peoples” Christmas. It is therefore, a celebration of working class families who strive to provide toys and happiness to their children who eagerly await the coming of the Tres Reyes Magos :0)
